Packing for a short trip...

Jeez...I guess I go a bit overboard. Even for a weekend trip, I break out the 40ct travel case.

I'm sure I'll be a mad man by August. Easing into it after a long Winter...

Any issues flying domestically with banded cigars? I'm taking a trip this summer to lake Tahoe with the family I'd like to bring a few with me.

I've never had a problem domestically. They will be in my checked baggage in a travel humidor.

Shouldn't be...done it many times. I'd leave your lighter behind, though.

TSA isn't CBP, ICE or ATF. Even the airport police won't notice/care from my experience.

Agree on the lighter though.....

I've never had any problem. And FYI - I never check my cigars. I don't want grubby-fingered TSA agents pawing through them. All cigars are in my carry-on luggage (with bands).

Only issues I've had with the torch lighters is that they need to be checked baggage. They found mine (Newark) in carry on and told me I can just check or throw it out. No problems once checked even full of fluid.

Actually, once the cigars are in this country already, you can travel with them since your not going thru customs. I take my smokes with me everywhere .

Yes what he said

I've traveled dozens of time both domestically and international, banded cigars in my carry on never any trouble, except once, it was a small 3rd world county I forget which one but when they saw my hygrometer in my travel humi they thought it was sort of triggering device. None of them spoke English and even though it was with cigars they didn't seem to under stand. I was brought in a room and had to wait until they found their senior commander who could speak English.
