Fosgate Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I guess if I really thought about a car that I would really want from my childhood that could be unique and mine i would chose either: T-bucket Or a 1932 Ford 3 window Deuce Coupe, I would have to think of the style though. Fenders or no fenders and throw some fat Mickey Thompsons on the back and have a hot rod. Another car I always wanted was from the movie Phantasm. A Black 1972 Plymouth Cuda with a 440 six pack and the pistol grip shifter. 1

TM-US Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I wouldn't really consider it a MLC car, but I would upgrade to a 996/997 turbo, GT3 or GT2. Air cooled Porsches are way out of my price range now, and I'm not sure I would buy a Corvette twice.

The first one when I was 17, he bought a 1986 red convertible corvette which I got to enjoy while I lived at home. He went through his 2nd crisis 10 years later & bought a new 2006 corvette & I humbly received the old vette as my dad is extremely generous ... & it was an ageing money pit. So now that I'm nearing the so called mid life crisis age, I'm happy to say I'm good to go. One thing my brother & I always say, a vette (or any mid life crisis car for that matter) is much cheaper than therapy. The '86 (stock photo but looks exactly the same) The 2006 (actual car) Edit - I knew I was eligible for a mid life crisis when I was driving the 2006 2 summers ago & my thinning hair was whisping in the wind & I realized that when people look at me, they no longer look like I'm borrowing my dads car, they think it's mine ... that's a reality slap.

Take the lightest car put the in the biggest engine, find a straight stretch and hit it! Had a '68 with a 318 it was plenty quick but a Hemi..... My oh my!
