PuroDan Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I have had many Boli's this year, as it is my favorite line. BBF being my favorite all time stick. I smoke a ton of the boli cj. Other than a few duds here and there, the quality has been superb. 14 RC's have been amazing. BBF same thing.I'm not saying that past years weren't good. I'm saying this year is a great year for Bolivar. Construction/Taste/Ect. Leave your comments as I am curious to see if you have had the same experience.
shlomo Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Haven't had too many 2014, but year in and year out Bolivar tops my books too.Even many of the REs that come out are excellent 3
Geo17pip Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Always lovedBoli. Had my first 2014 BBF last sunday. I had it after a long day skiing and few beers so i didnt have much food in me. Half way through the smoked i thought i was going to throw up. It was very strong and maybe the nic was hitting me. The flavors and construction on the other hand were great! The second third was great! Gonna let them rest a few more weeks and try another. Thanks Czar! 1
gr8eman Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 The Libertador is one of my all time faves. Pricey, but worth it as a special occasion cigar!

BBF definitely an after dinner stick :-) 1
srbbones Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I agree, but I had my "ah ha" moment for CCs with a bolivar, so I am biased 1
riazp Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 BPC, BCJ are always money in my books. Never really got into the BRC or BBF. i guess i'll have to give them another shot. 2
martymonty Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Good to know... I want to get another box of BBF.... Have a box from May/2013 that were outstanding... Maybe I won't just have to try and get the same? Boils are not my fav cigar , and yes the BBF really do pack a punch, but this particular cigar is one of my staples! Thanks for the heads up
Firebender Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Had some great 2014 BBFs for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Lant63 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 The Libertador is one of my all time faves. Pricey, but worth it as a special occasion cigar!Honestly for the money I prefer the bcg. Usually I am a fan of special releases, but the libbie, is too mild imho. Sent by telepathic super powers -Stogie Boy

dflan82 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I have been loving the BRG's this year. I will need to check out the BFF's. How have the Corona Gigantes been in 2014? These are on my list despite not smoking many Churchill or DC size cigars due to the time involved.

Ginseng Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 That's great to hear. Bolivar has historically been one of my favorite marcas. Through periods of unevenness over the years, the love has always been there. So many great vitolas...it's hard to pick one. Wilkey
sactochris Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 It's my all time favorite marca but I haven't really thought much of the Libertador yet. I've smoked two out of my box so far and am planning on saving the rest, maybe smoke another one in June on my birthday.
Homebrew Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 The Bolivar pc is my go to smoke. I also loved the CE, which was sadly discontinued. I am pissed, that they discontinued the PC in CABs, but I am still buying the dress boxes, and aging them in my old CABs. The only EL I have been tempted by, in years, is the SC, but for the money, I will just buy more PCs. Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew)
mk05 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 2014 was horrible for Partagas. 2005-2006 were great, followed by an orgasmic 2009-2010, and most recently a very nice 2012-2013.

Some of the best D4s I have smoked in almost a decade have codes from last year. Didn't smoke much of anything else in the Marca other than shorts which were all good. Which vitolas in particular gave you a bad impression?
mikemerry Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Had a boli Canada regional 2007 yesterday. On par with some of the best smokes of 2014 I've had. It even drew well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dvickery Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Every year is a good year for bolivar . Derrek 4
