Carts Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Just putting the question out there. Someone said to me this morning "I wish the Connie A's were regular production" which threw me a curveball. I thought they were reg production but after looking at CCW it just says that they are a 2013 release. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks
garbandz Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Well,it was released in '13.Prior to that it was not being made. Think of the Petit Monte 2,Double Edmundo, etc............new vitolas..........

Think of the Petit Monte 2,Double Edmundo, etc............new vitolas.......... what I'm trying to get at is if they will continue to be produced. Both the Pet no. 2 and DE are listed as current production on CCW, the Connie A is listed under special release and doesn't say if its currently produced
Hohenthal Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 They are a Casa Del Habano special release, but unlike limitadas continuously produced until further notice. (Like RA Superiores, H. Upman Royal Robusto...)
Edwhatever Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=116470&hl=%2Bconnoisseur+%2Ba This guys said it is a new regular production, see comments
matt123 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 As far as I know they are not a casa del habano release. They don't have the second band. And that they are a new (2013) regular production cigar. So yea they will continue to be released.

Trevor2118 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Just to clarify things....there are two types of releases being discussed here. 1. La Casa del Habanos Exclusives (started 2006, and in 2011 was intended for limited releases ~5000 boxes) 2. Habanos Specialist Releases (started 2012, no known quantity restrictions) The H. Upmann Connossieur A is a Habanos Specialist Release, so how long it stays in production is anyone's guess.
Carts Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Thanks for the answers. This has cleared it up for me

HarveyBoulevard Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 If the LCDH Exclusives were limited to 5k each, should we be seeing 2014 box code dates on sticks like the Upmann Royal Robusto and RA Superiores? I got the impression that they may have started out as 5000 run single year exclusives but turned into longer term production item. I have no idea, I'm curious as I love most of the LCDH releases. Edit: Nevermind, it looks like my question has been answered.
