I have been smoking NCs for a while and am starting to get interested in CCs. I look forward to making new friends and learning from the community.

Thanks cdfarrar. I have family in Charlotte. I might ask you for some B&M recommendations for the next time I'm in town visiting.

I'm a Dukie by proxy. Wifey is an alumni. Really a Gator fan though, my original hometown.

I've been pouring through the noob threads so far. Great stuff! Came across some good advice on how best to place an order. Classic!

Welcome from Boone.

I went to school at AppState! Love me some Booneopolis!

Asheville, beautiful town. Lived in Pinehurst for a couple of years, my only regret was not knowing about FOH at the time. Would have been great to meet up with all the North Carolina BOTL's. Welcome aboard.

Asheville is one of my favorite places in North Carolina. Welcome!

So ... how many of the NC JR's have you been to? I've been to at least two and will be in Moorseville next Friday. I may have to stop into JR's.

Had a few herfs at the Fox and the Hound in Charlotte. Great bunch of BOTL in that area.

This thread is like a NC reunion. I've been to Boone when my daughter was looking for a school. Nice area though she chose UNC Charlotte.

Pretty familiar with Greensboro as well.

JR's closed their store in Statesville a couple of weeks ago. Only Burlington and Selma are open.

UNTHINKABLE!!!! J-R has been such a big part of N.C.(North Carolina,Y'all) cigars for so long, really hard to imagine the Statesville store is closed.

Wow!!! I've been to Statesville many times! I thought there was one in the east as well but I haven't been there. Is that Selma???

I wonder if Whippany NJ is still open?

Things changed after Lew Rothman sold the company. Damn shame.
