Maplepie Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 not eligible yet for the Darwin Award..........but a sure contender,at least Honorable Mention...... nay- he can still reproduce... I think this makes a great anti-smoking campaign, though
cigcars Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I've foolishly fallen asleep a couple of times in my easy chair and had my lit cigar fall out of my mouth and onto myself. The thing is to stay calm and spend that time retrieving the cigar - not trying to jump out of the chair! As arthritic as my body is it would take more time for me to try to jump up than retrieve the hot cigar anyway! Again, the thing to do is STAY CALM! Plus, I want to keep the cigar intact and undamaged so I can continue smoking it too!
Maplepie Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 The thing is to stay calm and spend that time retrieving the cigar - not trying to jump out of the chair! Good advice! Weird I had to call that advice and not common sense... ... also...... What cigar bores you to sleep?
Optic101 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 ... also...... What cigar bores you to sleep? The right word is .... seduce .... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
cigcars Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Wowww - Optic 101 beat me to a better response than the one I originally had! I like my cigars strong and heavy, Maplepie. Plus, it's usually after a filling meal that I'll bring out my fine stogie. Of course, this seldom happens yet I don't mind being honest with everybody here, and admitting, yes they can be a tad "lulling of a lullaby" in their relaxing effect. If my cigar does happen to bore me, that's no matter for relaxation, but annoyance. There's no nodding off for me then!
