The Sir Winstons are $331.25/box

U. RR $74.50/box

Punch EL 2013 $263.75/box great cigar and makes them a great $$ value as they go doublish anywhere else

Connie $203.75 again a great value there

Alfonso's stuff is good and worth picking up for sure, price is always right.

Weren't the Punch ELs 299 here recently? Thats pretty close. The prices you quoted are also in CUC, not in CDN $, so add about 10% to them and thats the CDN $ total.

recommend you dont even buy cigars in vara ... too many shenanigans going on lately ... if you must buy in vara ... go to plaza america ... 63rd and 39th are both suspect to me for a few years now .

take a day and go to havana to do your cigar shopping ... btw dont do the tour ... just take your own trip .

you can thank me later for this ... or not

For like 10 seconds and then they were gone... Don't expect that price to ever return.

I usually use the LCDH on the beach at calle 27?? Yanni there gives me carte Blanche to look through the place and will open boxes etc. I've found the others to be less than helpful verging on disrespectful

Best bang for your buck in Cuba is pretty much anything with a second band. Punch LE's were plentiful in May when I was there last as were the Bolivars libertadores,Royal Robustos and RyJ de Luxe. Little or no RA Superiors to be found and the same holds true for the Monte 520's and Cohiba 1966's. If the new 2014 LCDH and EL's are available it is a good idea to jump on them as well. I also highly recommend the plaza las Amercas LCDH. the Ladies there are the most accommodating in Varadero. They also have a nice little back patio to have a cigar with some coffee and rum.

So does this mean that for example the PL Picadores that I've read about in the other threads would be readily available now in Cuba .

most likely. so long as they're not sold out in the touristy locations.

Ive noticed this as well... Apart from my fav girl at the calle 27 LCDH on the beach ive found the other stores to be over pricing really hesitant to open anything and overall just shady.... might have to make a run into Havana... I heard it may be Partagas week?
