I long for the days of the SWC and then the big 12 but I'm enjoying being part of the SEC. I do miss thanksgiving vs the longhorns.

That's my biggest problem with what has happened. What's always made college sports so much fun is the traditions and the rivalries that have grown over the decades. Two of the best - Kansas/Missouri, Texas A&M/Texas are now gone just in the chase for more football dollars for the budget.

Where in the 304 were you born and raised?

Bridgeport, right outside of Clarksburg. Northcentral WV. Are you just over the border?

I was born in Bluefield, WV, raised in Bluefield, VA, but now live in Bluefield, WV. I knew some folks that lived in Bridgeport, so I'm familiar with that area.

Neat. Have some family down south but closer to the Kentucky boarder.

I'm a big college fan. Don't really care for the debacle of overpaid criminals in the NFL. Big gators fan. Wondering when they are going to reschedule for.

I'm confused....you guys keep talking like there are other sports to watch between the National Championship game and the spring games in college football?! I'm pretty sure there IS no other sport other than college football...could be wrong though lookaround.gif I'm just glad weekends have a purpose again (other than mowing the grass).

Born an Auburn fan, married the Irish. Glad they don't ever play each other or I'd be 'getting the business' from one side or the other.

Sorry Michicant...your going down under the lights this Saturday!!!!!

Go VOLS!

Either the Gators win or Muschamp is history.

Vols lost a starting OL man today with an ACL. They are very thin on both sides of the ball. Even thinner now.

Sorry the young man got hurt,

I see a lot of Buckeye fans on here. I was born in Columbus and raised a Buckeye fan plus my dad went there so I went to lots of games. I went to University of Arizona so I love my Wildcats. Big win last night as I thought we might let it slip away. Love this time of year.

Thanks, Brutus! Our young guys came to play...offense put enough points on the board for the defense to win it! Both QBs took a beating tonight. Your QB will be fine with some experience...needs to learn how to throw the ball away instead of taking sacks. You guys are still the one of the top three teams in the B1G.

See you next year in Blacksburg!!!

Good Win for the Hokies. It's hard to lose an athlete like Braxton and not stumble. I really think the Buckeyes were outplayed and out coached all night, and that's hard for me to say. Tech played a good game and they were the better team!

Our DC game planned well for you guys. Shut down the run (with the exception of the QB...that has always been impossible for us to do for some reason) and make you beat us with the pass. We've got a pretty good defensive backfield (even the backups...Donovan Riley with the game ending pick-6) and our DC has enough trust in them to shut down the passing game. It is hard losing a player like Miller but your back up QB is more than capable, just needs some experience. However, he was thrown from the frying pan and into the fire vs. VT last night.

Grew up in Shady Spring WV...college at Marshall. Lived in Knoxville TN for 10 years...so Marshall and TN Vols are my teams. MU has a strong team with a nothing schedule while UT is rebuilding the team while having a monster schedule.

My Longhorns got ran over again by BYU. I did not expect the Longhorns to win this game, but I did expect the defense to have played better than they did. I'm just hoping we make good progress developing the young guys this year.

On the bright side, my Trojans went into the Farm and notched a huge win!!! With all the distractions lately, it's good to concentrate on football again.

Yeah, we are very thin. It's nice to see a coach at the UT again that is not a ******. The players are actually excited to play again.

I wouldn't be too quick to fire Muschamp. It really hurt the program when we fired Fulmer in haste. We ended up going through 2 coaches and a AD in 3 years and our recruiting really suffered.
