I haven't bought much recent production... anyone know about the RAE factory code? What factory, what cigars are coming out of there, how are they, etc?

I never bought a full box (thank god) but...

Quick little consultation to a local B&M chart brings up two box codes:

SUB and ABR

SUB 2011 was the H. Upmann factory. ABR i have nothing on. Sorry.

I saw RAE today on some Monte 2, HDM Epi 2 .

Some great cigars and some crap cigars. Too small a sample to tell as of yet.

Thanks Rob

Had me confused. Normally you don't get such a large disparity. I mean they were either really great...or really poor. Same mastercases. Not much in between.

Interesting! Fingers crossed that my RAE FEB 14 box of Partagas 898's in my locker were in the former group, and not the latter! I guess the only chance that it's in the latter group is if my order got swapped with Ken's for some reason LOL rotfl.gif

Smoked an HDM Epi 2 RAE ENE 14 last night and it was superb. Great construction, perfect draw and burn, plenty of complexity. I couldn't be more satisfied.
