ogus Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Are the tops now: H Up Con 1 Punch Punch? Yea or Nay. And what else? How are the Epi2 BBF HU RR etc.?
asmartbull Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Most on that list isn't know for smoking good this young, that said the epi 2 may give you the best smoke today.....IMHO the HUHC has been pretty good fresh sent while mobile....

Beg to differ on that opinion. Outside of the BBF on his list,I think the other 3 are likely in the top 5-10 best smoking young cc's out right now. Upmann RR and Epi 2 being easily in my top 5. Don't have a personal opinion yet on Punch Punch, but sounds like many here are enjoying these fresh too. I've got an HQ box inbound as we speak to find out for myself. Not sure about the Connie 1s either, but have heard/seen good things about recent production of these as well.
asmartbull Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 There is a difference between young and 14...If I think young, the HU A should be at the top sent while mobile....
nem Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 HdM Epicure #2s are typically fairly good young, current production included. Upmman Connoisseur #1s typically need at least three years to balance out. Asides from the cigars you listed, recent production Partagas Serie D #4s are quite good fresh.
Habana Mike Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Are we talking 2014 box codes? Haven't seen any yet myself.....
coug28 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Are we talking 2014 box codes? Haven't seen any yet myself..... Yeah, not totally sure. I just assumed the OP was asking what's smoking good young right now. Can't imagine too many have smoked from 2014 box codes. If that's what he was asking, I digress....no personal experience there myself.

Case in point: compare the aroma of a cigar that's currently smoking particularly well with what it will smell like after you remove it from the freezer. I would especially advise against freezing aged cigars that's smoking very well right now as they may never fully recover from the procedure" HdM Epicure #2s are typically fairly good young, current production included. And remember you heard it here first.........."recent production Partagas Serie D #4s are quite good fresh" What 2014 box codes do you have to support this? Would really like to know..........
nem Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 What 2014 box codes do you have to support this? Would really like to know.......... I was very happy with the Partagas Serie D #4s with the box code of BMU AGO 13 when they first arrived. However, they taste slightly muted now, so I am concerned that they are getting "sick." The box code is not 2014, but I would still consider it recent production. UpInSmoak Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Recent Punch Punch are excellent. I am a fan of the Connie 1 as well and own recent boxes of both. But for a stick that you want fresh, Punch Punch is the clear winner. But seriously....get both!!!!
