SonGoku Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Been some years since I've smoken one of these. Do they still come with no band on them btw? What do you think of current production of these compared to the ones from 5-10 years ago?
Skyfall Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 The 2013's are friggin' epic!!!!!! I can't get enough
polarbear Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Yes, the now come banded I can't speak for comparisons between current production and 10 year ago production but the current ones are quite good
Jimmy2 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 The 2013 are very good nice strait forward flavors some complexity . For me I love this cigar I once smoked 4 in a row in my backyard one summer day ! I can easly smoke 4 more in a row as they are very tasty the present ones . 1
CUBANO Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Have some from 2012 and they are good , I don't find them as strong as some people
jdo2110 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Recently purchased some, and I think they are great. Never had them before, but it has a great black cherry profile, and smokes perfectly. I'm new to RyJ, but if this is how the marca's profile is, I'm all in!!
Charltonc Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I love them. I am always running low on them. Nice flavor, good value, and very unique meaty flavor compared to the rest of the Habanos line IMHO. 1

Me, I've always loved the raspberry notes on these, but those were 2008s 1
olotti Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I love this cigar for its straight forward profile. The 12's I'm smoking from have been good but missing a bit of the moreno cherry flavor I had from my 09' box that were so good they didn't last but a year. They're fuller in flavor but I wouldn't say they're super strong, maybe the ones from late 90's were but these are way more approachable. I've smoke some late 90's and the body was still there but they had an amazing floral aspect to them, again diff tobacco used back then, but as for recent production you can't go wrong if you like this cigar. They have a cult following, not the most popular by any means but well loved by those of us who like them.
SonGoku Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Thanks for your reply guys. My mind is made up gonna pull the trigger on a box of these. Been thinking of them for years but never got around to pick up a box. 4 in a row Jimmy!?!??? Been some time since I've smoked 4 cigars in a row. Love smoking outside on a summerday with a nice view and NO wind
subport Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 4 in row. Wow. I have never done that and most likely will never do. Well I have never smoked 4 cigars in a day either, hahaha. Done some 3's on summervacation though.
Carts Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Are the Cazadores a safe box to buy blind? I've been trying to get my hands on some singles but to no avail. Thoughts?
Jimmy2 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I was drunk when I smoke 4 Cazadores in a row but they don't affect me as others I guess ! But for about 4 years I did 3 to 5 cigars a day !
brutusthebuckeye Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Are the Cazadores a safe box to buy blind? I've been trying to get my hands on some singles but to no avail. Thoughts? Yes!....I got a 2010 box a few yrs ago...they have been great....
ErikB Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Smoked quite a few boxes of these ; just something about opening that tin foil and smelling the bundle...
