Funny you mention this Kam, but that Sydney catch-up night didn't I hand you a Partagas SD no.4 ?!? or was that the catch-up prior ?

The slight cherry sold me on PSD4, but I can definitely see where people were detecting the crap taste of a Monte Master. Not the finest D4 for sure....

Just reviewed the results and 14 people picked the HdM Epi 2 - almost a quarter of the pack!

Almost all the other Robusto possibilities were each picked by either 5 or 6 people.

Very interesting.....and congrats to the 9 that picked it right.

I believe most of participants would be sophisticated cigar aficionados. Except the joke by Monte4, the rest consensus created by El Prez just proved that, HSA randomly put bands on the rolled cigars, no matter what it is, rely on the calls from the market.

Not only I disagree but It's just wrong; this is typically what people annoyed at not being able to tell the difference, say…

D4 is one of my favorite, and most frequently smoked cigars. Never have I had one that tasted like the blind example. I'm no expert but this was certainly humbling.

On to #2!
