I realized I don't have any SLR boxes and want to add a box. I have had singles of both but not recently. Any insight out there on how either are for current box code stock? Thanks.

Box codes for a discontinued, relatively rare cigar? I doubt that more than one factory rolled the latest batches of Serie A… You find it, you buy it…

Did I miss something? I'm not sure the A or the Regios are discontinued? They are both listed on CCW as current production. I know the 50 cabs were cut, but they are still being rolled to my knowledge.

Back to the OT, the last regios box code I knew of was TGA FEB 13 and GAT APR 13. The last known Serie A box code I had was RET MAY 13. I hope that helps!

Recent boxes have been good, not great. The 2010 regios were killer.

Had a nice 2012 Serie A a month or so ago, and it was pretty good. I seem to prefer the regios to the As over the boxes I've had, but they're fairly similar in construction consistency and taste.

These are pretty much you see what you get. Not a lot of complexity or varying flavors, but not in a bad way. I find them very pleasant, medium bodied, and interesting enough.

I don't think these are rare, and they're certainly not discontinued.

Good value marca. These do smoke better with age, but I've had some boxes that were great ROTT.

My 2 boxes of Serie A from 2013 have RET MAY13 codes as well. I haven't cracked into them as I have a box from 2008 that are smoking fantastic. And yes, 50 cabs are discontinued but I wouldn't call the dress boxes of Serie A or Regios rare as they can be found quite easily online

While still listed as current production, Serie A's are getting thin on the ground. Anyone seen any '14 box codes of them???

My fresh 2013 Regios have been absolutely wonderful.

For the price it beats a lot of sticks. Definitely worth a buy if you can. Get your hands on some for a good price.

I personally love the S.L.R. A and find them relatively easy online.I like there easy way about them and above all their

taste so unique in a creamy & earthy way . I'd be very sad the day there 's no more.

I prefer the Serie A to the Regios, and I also find the the Serie A need years to really shine. I also find that there is a very limited annual production of the Serie A and I buy when I can, especially if HQ/PSP boxes are available.

Had my first Regios last week TGA MAY 13. Delicious change of pace - the fresh fruit note astounded me the whole time. I've never had anything quite like it!

The 2013 Regios have been very good. For some reason I have never liked the Series A, have try fresh and aged over the years and the cigar never did it for me. Love the Regios, Churchills, DC, and most of all the Pacificos from SLR.

A bit off topic but would be interested to know how do these two compare with the Pacificos / DC The ones i have are from '09

I have A 5'er of SLR Regios from 2014 I have yet to try another week or two and I'll fire one up! Shipping into Vegas really shocks the cigars, so I give them At least of one month to six weeks before I try the first one!
