thecapo Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Can you tell the difference between a cigar kept at 64rh and 66rh? My humi has maintained 66rh for some time and the cigars smoked wonderful. Nice burn and flavor. It just so happened that the humi drop to 64rh for about 4 days. Just lite one up and seemed very light weight and dry. The taste is a little harsh and not to appealing. Is it just me or the 2 point negative difference is impacting my enjoyment?
Skyfall Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 2 % points for 4 days will not be the cause. And a cigar kept at 64H will not cause a cigar to be harsh or dry. 64Rh is still really wet! 1
thecapo Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Do you believe it's just a bad one out of the bunch?
ramon_cojones Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 what he said, they don't start to get dry/crackly until about 60-59 try another
Smallclub Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 2 % points for 4 days will not be the cause. This.
Dbone Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I had a PL Robusto in my 3 finger leather case right before my kid shared her ear infection with me and I was out of commission for over a week, in dry winter weather might I add. The cigar smoked remarkably well. The wrapper was a little crunchy but it tasted fine. As others have said, probably just a bad roll of the dice...
jerryg05495 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I'd like to hear how the next one smokes when you keep it at 64%
thecapo Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Will do. Tomorrow at the same time 2:30 eastern. Thanks
