multi-useless Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Good bump - I don't have a standard wait time, but interesting to see such a variety of answers
Jnavas1500 Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 Since I have little patience, I usually wait 5-7 days to spark one, then I lay them to rest for 3-6 months
Lucass111 Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 I usually wait a few months if I can control myself.
Ericbrobes Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 I'm usually good for one ROTT but then I try to give them 4-6 weeks. I do admit it's slightly easier since most of what I am ordering is to build up reserves.
Silverstix Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 60-90 days is ideal, but I have the patience of a 6 year old. I usually compromise and smoke 1 after 30 days, then don’t revisit again for at least another couple months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Raskol Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 30-60 days for me. If it's repeat order, should be longer.
raidercraig Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Waited two weeks R&J Short Churchill. They need to be put down for a while. Anyone have any success with young R&J Short Churchill ?
toledo1969 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 I mostly wait 30 days once the box arrives, but sometimes I can't wait and smoke one the day of arrival. I try to smoke only one and then let them rest for at least 1 to 2 years before coming back again for seconds.
havanaclub Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 I almost always smoke one fairly ROTT. After about a week in the humidor to test them out. I pick the ugliest, cracked, underfilled bugger and smoke it. Sometimes I am very surprised at the performance. Then they go down for at least 30-60 days before I sample again. I find 60-90 days makes a big difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
