Hi everybody,

just had (once again) that thought,

what if I could afford to have my own custom made vitola?

In my case, I would totally go for a 13.5 by 44 cigar,

like a longer Coloniales or "Cosaco Gorda".

Just imagine the miracles one could do with a

Rafael Gonzalez in that format, the small brother of the Corona Extra

or a Ramon Allones Hybrid between Small Club Corona and Superiores...

What are your daydreams?

Best, Alex

Hmmmm... difficult question.

I do like a variety of different sizes for different occasions and to mix things up a bit.

If I had too choose one.. I think it would be a Laguito no.2 (38 x 152) Not too long, not too short, not too thin, and certainly not too fat. Just about right for me. smile.png

Might be a misunderstanding,

I did not mean which of the current production cigars would you chose

("...if you were stranded on an island" sort of thing)

Rather, which one - in addition to your regulars - would you invent / create specially for yourself?

Ahhh.. Sorry, my mistake. I'll have a rethink.

I absolutely love the lonsdale, churchill, CG formats, but if I had to create one maybe a 6.5 by 54 just for kicks, which may already exist.

A friend of mine was saying the other day he would love something around 44 x 4.5/5

That's about the size of the old style Eminente, when it was machine made (Upmann corona major, Partagas petit corona especiale, Partagas corona senior).

I'd go for a Cohiba Conde 109 (regular production). If not, perhaps a 157 x 41 mm parejo.

X2 or maybe 38 X 5 a shorter CCE or especial 2 with the ramone allones profile with the pig tail and either a shaggy or covered foot

I think I'd either want a very full-bodied Ramon Allones Laguito No. 2 or a Por Larranaga Corona Gorda with a flavor profile somewhere between an Encantos and a Montecarlo.

Oh I like both of these!

Dalia extra, stick about an extra inch on. 194 mm X 43 rg

With a rounded '109' head.

Rich sweet creamy coffee flavours, emphasis on the 'rich'.

Oily dark rosado wrappers.

898 box or cab of 50.

That would be a Partagas Lancero. Bold, strong, spicy, sexy ou jeah

That's the Partagas Série du Connaisseur No.1. Exactly the same size as a lancero. Discontinued but still available in some places.

• a Corona Grande or a Cervantes with the blend of the El Principe and /or the Reyes;

• a longer Bolivar Royal Corona: the same blend in a Gordito or a Dobles size;

• a medium sized double figurado, such as a Tacos (like the Partagas Presidente), in each marca…
