ndhaon91 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Smoked one last night and see the potential but overall it just felt off. Trying to decide if this just isn't the cigar for my tastes or if they need more time to show their true identity.
Habana Mike Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Try a couple between now and 2016. I'd say by then the true character will come through....
SCgarman Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Wait another 6 months then fire one up. I have smoked RASS with one year of box age and have liked them. But it is personal preference.
frenchkiwi Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 when you try one and it tastes good ;-) anecdotally, my last box was brilliant and strong young but muted from 1.5-4 years old when i finished the box. They were alright from 2-4 years but just alright. Had a definite sick period from 9months to 1.5 years. i ended up wishing i smoked them all at the beginning. But the next box on the shelf might have been the opposite...
Pilgrims Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I've had 2012 Robustos - SLRReg, PSDN4, BRC - recently from a box share wit some other on here and loved them all, If I had whole boxes then fine to keep but these seemed to just smoke themselves...
Jah Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Should be right on as soon as they've settled in your humidor.
joeypots Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 A cab of '06 RASS too about 4 years to smooth out. They are terrific now. I'm down to the last few.
