Davidoff did a good job with their Winston Churchill Lancaster cigars, it's a petit Belicosos so not a size really seen much apart from in REs but de band some and do a blind tasting with some mates and you'll be surprised how Cuban they taste, they are 100% Cuban seed, can't remember the growing area though

The only NC I've smoked that was smooth and soft enough to fool me into thinking it was Cuban was a Partagas 150.

I never got why people try to find NCs that replicate the taste of a CC when there are real CC so readily available.

And often at better prices than NCs. With very few exceptions, I don't smoke NCs because they are cheaper, because most of the ones I can enjoy are priced into the double digits. Compare this to a 50-SLB of Partagas Shorts at about $5 per. Tastier and more economical.

+1 on the prosseco comment, or beer, I don't look for the English ale most like a Belgian beer, why would I? If I want an English ale I buy one, if I want a Belgian beer I buy one. A ridiculous embargo doesn't change the rules of taste(flavour).
