Colinb913 Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Carry a gun everyday to protect my family and loved ones. Provide for my fiancé in every way I possibly can. Can service my own vehicles in most cases. Shoot guns on a weekly basis and I am very proficient with them. Know how to hunt kill and prepare deer duck quail squirrel and a few others in addition to most fish.
ptrthgr8 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Do you live in Colombia or something? Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk There are some free states in the US where responsible individuals can exercise their right to carry arms to protect their loved ones. The cops can't be everywhere all the time. I carry a sidearm with me everywhere it's legal to do so. And, no, I don't live in Bogota. I live in the sovereign State of North Dakota, thank you very much. Cheers, Greg Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX HD

Cheers, Greg Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX HD Agree with Greg, I support and respect my local and federal law enforcement officers and agents, but I DO NOT RELY on them to protect myself and my family. That is best left up to me, and luckily I live in a State that not only allows it, but strongly encourages it.(for the protection of life AND PROPERTY!!!) {Castle Doctrine} One of the main problems with out society these days is we have seen a massive increase on the number of people who RELY on the Government for too many things. For me and my family: work hard, make your own destiny, protect yourself and your property by whatever means necessary, and rely as little, if at all, on the Government as possible. I've been carrying for 15 years. A large number of women also carry in these parts as well. It's our right and our duty to our families and others. My personal side arm: alternates between S&W MP9 9mm with 17 round mags and Walther p99 .40 with 15 round mags. Vehicle arms: sawed off 12 gauge with 00 Buckshot & a Ruger P95 .45 with 12 round mags. Home arms: (In addition to personal sidearms) - S&W MP15 Tac Ar-15 tricked out & 12 gauge pump tactical max, 18in barrel, 25 round access to 00 buckshot, #4 buckshot and slugs. Saddle arms: (When riding my horse) lever action 30-30, lever action .410 & Ruger vaquero .44 mag western rig. Gun Safe Inventory: CLASSIFIED
Coolio Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I regularly yell at the television and people younger than myself. But maybe that's just an oldmancomplishment?
Babaloo Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 We live in an age when adolescence is celebrated and being a mature, responsible adult is ridiculed. I take this thread as our own celebration of being a grown up instead of a man-boy. And if it encourages other men to step up, why not? I concur

Gun Safe Inventory: CLASSIFIED While I'm not getting myself involved in too much of the above (both pro and con), Big D, give me a PM, and I'll explain to you why you should unfortunately get away from the M&P. I have some perhaps better options for you, but that's one of the only weapons I can't recommend after seeing and hearing about some tragic files. Just some food for thought. Other than that, back to your regularly scheduled programming....

Walther just happens to make my favorite pistol I've ever owned.

Ophidion Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 I love my xdmc but I should have just got the full size. *baby hand problems* I'm a big fan of striker fired pistols.
canadianbeaver Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 I once grew a moustache. My father always says about his twin, "We're identical twins except for the moustache. She has the moustache."
canadianbeaver Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 The Ultimate Mans Man- "Babaloo" in the flesh. You know he is wearing pink panties under the table, right?
Peacock Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 After 2 years of collecting parts, mock up, solving issues, assembly, paint and bug fixes...I licensed my home built, custom HD chopper this summer. If I could figure out how to post a pic...I would. I figured out how to post a pic!
jkdooley Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 So for whoever has met me you know I am not some giant lumberjack who uses a pine tree as a toothpick and makes my own weapons out of saber tooth tiger fangs. However, I do some things that I am proud of and that make me feel like a man. Here are some of those things: Today I changed the brake rotors and pads on my car saving myself 700 dollars in parts/labor. I have never done any real repairs on my car but I figured if some guy on YouTube could do it, why can't I? I have hunted with a bow and arrow, taken deer and butchered them myself. I have cut down several large trees with an axe when my dad's chainsaw broke for a few weeks. I have repaired appliances with only info I've found on the Internet and safety training I got from my current job. I built a stun gun in high school in my electronics class. I built a working catipult that fit in the bed of a pickup and could whiz a water balloon at 60mph. What are your Mancomplishments? Sorry, Just had to post this
2tall2slow2 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 After years of designing and compiling instructions for others on how to complete building projects/conversions, I found myself in a position where my own home was in desperate need of a complete renovation. I started the project and, as it evolved, I ran out of money. Im slowly finishing it, with help from others, and have taken it upon myself to practice basic construction, electrics, plumbing and kitchen and bathroom fitting. If you knew me 3 years ago you would be absolutely stunned to hear me claim this.
Optic101 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I figured out how to post a pic! That's a nice bike. Well done. Congrats.
Bill Hayes Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I fought off an attack by a 10 foot tiger shark while spearfishing in the coral sea, 3 times. I've taken a hat-trick in cricket. While in Mangoes bar in South Beach Miami I pulled off a Steven Seagal move from a seated position (without spilling a drop of beer) against a College football player who was unhappy with an Orange Bowl loss after I'd been drinking Patron Silver Tequila shots for 3 hours straight.
PigFish Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I parallel parked a train. Once pitched an entire Baseball Game in 27 pitches. I once won a staring contest while asleep. I have thrice rescued a kitten from outer space. Michael Jordan once waited in line for my shoes. Elvis used to inform people when I left the building. Sharks have a week dedicated to me. I can hear sign language. Mosquitos never bite me out of pure respect. I have routinely taught old dogs new tricks. I am the only person who has actually confirmed that in fact a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. When police pull me over, I let them off with a warning. Once flew a jet in reverse. Santa Claus writes letters to me. My "manhood" has an elbow. My freezer has an absolute zero setting. Simon does what I say. My treehouse has a finished basement. I won an Oscar for my role in Star Wars as "The Force". When I snooze, I win. My shot glass holds a pint. I once built a snowman out of rain and kept it cold with a flame thrower. I once counted every star in the sky during the middle of the day. My cold shoulder can reverse global warming. I once killed 10 men with a single grenade, then pulled the pin. I always know exactly how many chickens I have before they hatch. I once took a final exam and my professor failed himself. When I was a baby I sang my mother to sleep. I have never stopped to collaborate and listen. I once won a game of connect four with three pieces. It takes 18 seconds for me to find a needle in a haystack. My two cents is actually worth $37.40. The Birds and the Bees teach each other about me. When I watch a pot it boils faster. When I cannonball into a pool it is recognized as an official declaration of war. I have a Black Belt in Fishing. I use a knife to do my own taxes. I can jet ski a double black diamond I have fought a fire with a samurai sword. A rattlesnake once bit me and then it died after 3 days of pain. My shadow constantly wonders what I will do next. Who am I? Carlos Ray Norris!
