asmith
OK guys I need to put it out there for the sake of the office. To put it mildly today is not a good day in Brisbane, 14 degrees and raining, Rob has started a fire on the deck to keep warm, hell I am even demanding my money back from the slogan "Queensland Beautiful one day Perfect the next," Except for today its crap. So on top of all of this Diana has received a couple of emails from clients telling her they are off to either one of the following sunny destinations, Hawaii, Tahiti, Bahamas. Then to add to it the panel beater next door to the office dropped in to say good-bye he and the wife are off sailing around Thailand for the next two weeks. Poor Di just snapped demanded some sunshine. So guys and girls please don't mention in any emails today that you are sipping margaritas on a tropical beach, for the sake of a happy office. Have a great weekend guys.

MIKA27
Ok well if it makes you feel any better Di, its fricken freezing down here in Melbourne and I too am not really impressed hearing that a colleague is heading off to Hawaii tomorrow for 2 weeks! WarriorPrincess
So sad So sad but true.... Hawaii Tahiti Bahamas what is a girl to do...but look out the window and see grey skies, rain and wind to remind me all day long. Then you have Rob walking in looking like he is frozen, jacket on cursing and mumbling something about how cold it is up there. All I can say is, you are sitting on the deck on top of the building in this weather with nothing blocking the wind and rain and a little fan heater working overtime trying to warm you, hence why the red wine comes out earlier than normal Another day in the office Have a great weekend to all

CaptainQuintero
Damn 14c would be nice! It's nearly June here and it hasn't stopped raining sideways since May 2010! Di you need to stage a sit down protest and start playing pass the parcel..with shots of wine, get Ken to come round with the music, Rob can get the BBQ going, Smithy can go fetch his stormtrooper outfit and insurance will cover the fallout! asmith
Just so we are clear, I am not pointing out that it is really cold or worse than anywhere else, I know Melbourne is colder at the moment and England is.... well England. The problem is we live in Brisbane which is meant to be perfect winter weather here and that is not what today is.

asmith
Good one guys, Di has just walked out. It seems that we have perfect weather here compared to the rest of the world. I am sorry for putting this post up as everybody has pretty much emailed Di and told her how hard and crap it is where they are and we should be pleased with a little bit of rain. No more emails, please.
Fuzz
Di, time for an office makeover.... first crank up the heater to maximum, buy a few sun lamps, get some potted palm trees, grab Rob's hammock from upstairs and hang in on the potted palms, switch out Rob's Air Supply CD from the hi-fi and pop in a Jamaican steel drum album, hire a Cabana boy, then ask Smithy to truck in a few tons of beach sand. Now you have an office in the tropics!!
Patric M
LOL your all welcome to come to Canada any day in the winter... you can all stay in my igloo and use my dog sled. Heck. I'll even cover the thermal underwear. It's a real experience when your lips freeze to your cigar when you try and take a puff, or you nostrils freeze shut when you sniff really hard... Don't even get me started about the piss freezing before it leaves your lil solder when you try and go out side. Nothing says winter like pissing some ice! WarriorPrincess
ok ok i get the hint there are places colder than Brisbane and i haven't left the building as it is to cold (for Brisbane winter) to. So now I am having a nice glass of wine on a Friday afternoon at 5.30pm still doing orders and dreaming of the a beach, sand and being served cold glasses of wine
