I AM MALCOLM FROM CHESAPEAKE. I HAVE MONITORING THE FORUM FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS SINCE MY FRIEND COGNACSCOTCHCIGARS REFERENCED ME TO THIS FORUM. ALOT OF KNOWLEDGE HERE.

I HAVE A QUESTION. I AM CURRENTLY STAYING IN A HOTEL ROOM AND I HAVE SEVERAL BOXES OF CIGARS WITH ME. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STORE THEM? I HAVE THEM IN BOXES WITH THE TUBES WITH DISTILLED WATER IN THEM.

I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE IN THE BEST WAY TO STORE BOXES OF CIGARS. I TRAVEL FREQUENTLY AND STAY IN HOTEL ROOMS. I AM LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE ON HOW I SHOULD STORE BOXES OF CIGARS IN A HOTEL ROOM WITHOUT BUYING A BIG HUMIDOR. THANKS FOR THE HELP. I LOOK FORWARD TO THE RESULTS.

Welcome! If your not smoking boxes of cigars on every trip then just take what your planning to smoke and buy a xikar travel humidor.. They come in a bunch a different sizes from 5 cigars to I believe 80 cigars.. That will prob be your best bet for keeping them in their proper conditions..

Welcome to FOH Malcolm. I would suggest to get a hard case travel humidor, and then use a boveda pack for humidity inside.

Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to learning a lot about cigars through the forum and sharing my cigar experiences with the forum. I will ensure that I keep the "CAPS LOCK" off on future entries.

Welcome from NoVa. When I travel, I just use a Pelican-case type traveldor. Any brand will do. Just throw in a humipack if you'll be on the road for a while and you will be fine. Most times, I just breath moist air in once a day and all is good.
