so its official as of today, I will be working on a cruise ship ( celebrity Eclipse) for the next six months! i leave Monday to San Juan, Puerto Rico to board the ship the following day. the ship then sets sail to Southampton England where it will be based out of, from there i will be visiting Norway on an eight day cruise. I wont be spending the six month in Norway i will also be making stops in Spain, France, Portugal, Gibraltar, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Russia and Denmark. most of these counties i will only be visiting once and for a single day but if there is anyone who lives in a port city and would like to meet up send me an email and i will see if we can arrange a meeting. I hope that i can get internet access thats good enough to post picture of my travels and keep in touch with every one here but if not everyone have a safe summer and I will be back in late October. oh and if anyone knows where to get good cigars in any port city in any of the above cities please let me know

amazing, and good luck. Cruised on the celebrity reflection for new years...what a treat.

If I may ask what will you be doing?

Also in Puerto Rico there is a nice cigar store called The Cigar House. If your looking for hard to find Non Cubans, they have them. Especially Liga Privadas. When I went, they have the full line up, Unicos included. Full retail but they are all there!

Sounds like a good experience. Gibraltar will be your cheapest and best place for cigars out that lot. You will get all the UK regionals at half the cost of here big shop in the main drag, also Spanish shops are generally well stocked and government set prices that are not too bad so you can find some nice aged stock at nearly the same price as when they were released

Only buy in Spain and Gibraltar. CCs in Gibraltar are REALLY cheap and REs are a pretty good deal in Spain.

Congratulations Nick, you are going to some beautiful countries, and I wish you great journey.

As for cigars, echoing the above, Gibraltar is the pick of the countries you listed, as it is tax free. The main LCDH on the main street has a great stock of all sorts of Cubans, at great prices.

Spain is also cheap enough, but quality can be patchy, and shops difficult to find.

Lisbon has a couple of good shops...Plenty in Belgium, as thats where all the European Parliament politicos live...not cheap trhough.

Good luck mate.

thanks everyone I rely appreciated it! Lisa sorry we aren't able to get together before I go but hopefully when I get back in October it wont be to cold and we can meet up for a smoke

If your stop in Belgium is in Antwerp (I presume it will be) you're in luck because the Antwerp LCDH is just accross the street from the cruise vessel terminal.

If by any chance you go to Oostende on the Belgium coast, there is also an excellent shop in that city.

All the best,

Michel
