hmmm think this might explain the tight draw...

Just smoking a NC for a change (probably serves me right biggrin.png ) and it had quite a tight draw, massaging the stick didn't help so i dug around a little in the head of the cigar and...

Probably the biggest stem I've pulled out of a stick, and considering this was in a robusto I'm not sure how the roller missed this one.

Got me thinking what monster stems/oak trees other people have found in cigars?

You've Got to be kidding name and shame I reckon.I do not smoke N/C's as a rule ,but in any cigar that is almost unforgivable ,who is the roller Blind Freddy

Had a stem of nearly that size in a Trinidad Reyes -

the rest of the box was fine though.

In a trinidad!? and a petit corona size to boot - half the cigar was stem!

It was a La Aroma De Cuba - Mi Amor robusto. Not a bad cigar once i pulled the branch out but by then it was too late. I have another so fingers crossed.
