Now, everybody knows about it and where it is. laugh.png

We will be spending Christmas near there, so I would like to go and check out what kind of weirdos and nut jobs who have flocked there to spawn the next Human era.

So, is that cool-aid as in the Merry Pranksters?

Anyway, luckily, NASA has looked into it, and they reckon we're not all gonna buy a ticket on the 21st.

I'd better rush out and buy her a present....

We've recently been touring the lands where the conquistadores set sail from, with many a great statue to celebrate the grandness of it all, and I can't help wondering how it would have been if they'd left the Mayans et al alone....

Doesn't matter anyway, the world will end in a few days....

And listen to Neil Young's Cortez The Killer

Cortez, Cortez, what a killer.

I better pack some gatorade just in case.

I was contemplating washing some undies, but may make these ones last. No point going to the bother if the world's going to end.

Excellent, always loved Moderntoss.

Quite enjoyed this http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/dec/16/mayan-death-rebirth-date-planet-crisis article.

Typically doom laden, but interesting points.

Some assume it is "the end of the world", whereas it may just be a marking of a cycle.

They were probably a lot cleverer than we thought.

You know, the least the Mayans could have done was put a time to this "End of the World" mumbo-jumbo. I mean, come on! I've been waiting since midnight to see if I needed to come into work today. It'd be just my luck that the world ends at 6:30pm when I go home...
