Is a fake cuban cigar sold on the streets in Cuba still a cuban cigar? They're still made with cuban tobacco right, just the scraps or what? Cuban counterfeiters don't have the ability to import non cuban tobacco for these fakes right?

Just curious...

Don't even do that ..walk away, giving money simply enables these people to put more fake cigars out there.

It's just a question, thats all. Never been to Cuba and most likely never will. Again, this post was just a thought and nothing more.

It is "Cuban" in the sense of being made in Cuba or being made with Cuban raw materials. It is not Cuban in the sense of a "Habano" cigar, that is, an official product of HSA.

Agreed with Wilkey. That's a great explanation.

Yes, it is still a "Cuban" cigar, but it is possible that not all the ingredients in your cigar will actually be tobacco. I have seen banana leaves, grass (not marijuana), hairs, paper, small twigs, even bits of metal that could have been a paper clip or staple in there...

Ironic thing is that you can sometimes find these things in actual, quality, authentic Habanos. Lol. :D:covermouth:
