Trevor2118 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Just going through my photos from my recent trip to Switzerland. We had a room with a balcony view to the Matterhorn, which is normally partially obscured by cloud. There are two photos of the mountain.....firstly during the day, and the second early in the morning with the golden yellow early sun bouncing off the snow, totally changing the mountains colour. This effect only lasted minutes. The colour are as viewed....no photoshopping, other than reducing the image size. Thought they might be of interest.
CigarAsh Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 That's sweet Trevor. Living in the flatlands of Kansas I have a deep love of the mountains, if only because of how remote they seem compared to my day to day views. Our biggest mountain is Mt Oread topping in at a majestic 800 or so feet.
Colt45 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Brilliant Trev! How long did it take you to summit?
