Where to buy Tea online?

Try Enjoybettercoffee.com which will also give you PLENTY of teas to choose from too. I'm an herbal tea-ist myself but they have a very large selection of Ceylon black teas, Green Teas, lots of herbal, tropical fruit, black currant, lemon, etc. I also like Celestial Seasons and Numi Teas, which are no nonsense TEA!

excellent thread. missed it earlier.

i drank no tea at all for the first 30 odd years of my life - probably because my mother must surely hold the world record for consumption of bushell's! i hated the smell. and sticking milk in it seemed the bizarrest thing imaginable to me, as a kid.

but do really enjoy green tea, and on rare occasions, white tea. far too rare occasions sadly.

at mugaritz in spain a year or so ago, had their white fujian jasmine (later found out that this is supposedly the top spot for jasmine). it was so far and away the best tea i had ever seen. put everything else into the shame box.

ta for the links. will try some.

Good stuff. I've seen these guys mentioned a bit and have thought about ordering from them. Will have to give it a shot.

Tea wise, I have gotten heavily into Pu Erh of late (my preference is raw over ripe), and enjoy Oolong as a day to day drinker.

I have ordered tea a few different times from Dragon Tea House on eBay. Quality tea shipped directly from China at a reasonable price. I can definitely recommend them

I don't like Mariage Frère's blends. Every time I try one I find it too sweet. I buy my tea from here:

http://www.palaisdesthes.com/en/

they're based in France but they have a shop in New York City. Great service, they give free samples with every order.

They have a very good, strong lapsang souchong from Taiwan, called "thé du Tigre" http://www.palaisdesthes.com/en/the-du-tigre-262.html

it's one of my favorite drink with bold cigars.

Some of the Mariage teas are definitely sweet. Try the Casablanca- it has mint in it and is a great, refreshing tea. Their regular Earl Grey is quite good as well.

I'm a big fan of the French Breakfast tea; it has chocolate notes which is very unusual.

With over 200 teas, it's not fair to characterize the whole company that way. They also have an amazing selection of Ceylon teas. Many pure teas that are not infused with fruit or herbs.
