I gave three cigars to a buddy for his vacation. 2 NC a cohiba and a San cristobal, and 1 CC a PSD4. He smoked the first two and half of the PSD4. He then told me he finished the PSD4 about a week later. My heart actually dropped at the thought of that week old half finished cigar getting smoked. Firstly cuz it was a waste of a cigar from IMHO a great box of them that I got from rob dying his partagas sale. Secondly at the thought of a cigar being smoked a week after it was started.

Is it just me or am I weird I personally can't smoke a cigar after its been out for more than 30mins. Let alone a week

That's repulsive. You should have given him a Camacho instead, or Acids. He probably wouldn't have known any differently.

Acids and NC Romeos. A frat daddy's dream...

I didn't finish that Fonseca No.1 I'd spoken of in an earlier post. I kept it for about 2 weeks thinking I'd come back to finish it. But then I thought - eh...no. Tossed.

I don't even enjoy it after it's been out for 10 minutes. I do my best to smoke all the way through.

I'm in the same boat. Any more than 10-15 minutes being out, the flavours just nowhere as good on re-light

I sometimes let it out for a day, on occasions when i had too much ie smoking a bigger cigar like Churchills. I'll finish up the next day, of course flavour wise is compromised but in my opinion its not that bad. I dont leave it for more than a day though, if it is i'll just toss it out.

I've found 24 hours before a relight is fine. Just let the cigar sit on the ashtray to air out. I think it would be a bad idea to put it in a box or something. Certainly not as someone did a while back put the half smoked one back in the humi. Horrors!!

I'm not a chain smoker like you, mate. Hehehehe But more often than not its the shitty that gets this treatment.

Pretty gross, but you gave your buddy the cigars to enjoy, if he enjoyed it after a week, then mission accomplished.

That was pretty much my thought. He liked them so I'm ok with that, I was just grossed out.

What are you guys, nuns or something? (Read with jest please!) I find old cigars rolling around my shop all the time. I smoke them!!! Put some hair on your chest!!!-LOL

Yesterday I found one that I thought I lost... a nice lonsdale on my table saw. I was in the mood to smoke a little and the cigar picked up right where it left off.

I have been known to reheat pizza too! I will even eat cold chicken!!! Cold ribs while standing knee deep in the River, leaning on your boat... Now that is living!!!

So I am a little different! I think most robustos are not worth smoking the first time, but a good 42 ring cigar, it can handle a little stale ash if you leave in an open space! Live a little. Remember the first time you tasted.... :whisper:

Aint the tube for putting your stick back in so you can fire it up again later :lookaround:

hah. I actually did this tho, dusted off the excess ash, fired it up...I quickly put it back in the tube followed by the bin.

I honestly can't stand a cigar after I have to delight it more than a couple minutes later. I get that nasty ashtray taste in my mouth.

I am on a mission to change you from a stick to multiple stick in a day, I think I am getting there
