BrightonCorgi Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 I don't find there are many if any disappointing Habanos. Some I like better than others... Comes down to the actual box. Some I swear the recipe has changed over time. Look at Fonseca No. 1... 10-15 years ago they were near laughing stocks to the serious Habanos smoker. Now, they are near the top of the list. Why? That don't taste like they use for whatever reason... Same can be said for better then or now for a lot of the portfolio. A find Upmann to be the most consistent over the years...
BG1165 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Ive had a good and bad in every marka/vitola at some point in time. I chalk it up to environmental, seasonal and QC issues. They get better, they get worse and it repeats. I expect it will always be this way and the brain work to figure it out isn't worth the effort for me.
