Guest Robo Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 COHIBA PIRÁMIDES EXTRA THE FIRST FIGURADO TO BECOME PART OF COHIBA'S PERMANENT RANGE Pirámides Extra is an addition to the Línea Clásica of Cohiba. This vitola includes a new Cohiba band with innovative design and security elements. http://www.habanos.c...le.aspx?aid=573
braveheart655 Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I'll keep my reservations until I watch Ken nubbing one of those.
Puros Y Vino Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I'm up for trying a couple. I have a few boxes of the 2006 LE Piramides that are stellar. These might be worth a shot.
ramon_cojones Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I'll stick to the basics that made the marque famous thanks.
nikesupremedunk Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 whats the estimated retail? I think i saw that they will cost as much if not more than bhks.... Would love to try one, just not at that price.
gersonmorelli Posted September 15, 2012 Posted September 15, 2012 With the exception of the 1966 EL, recent production Cohibas have failed to impress me. I'm a little skeptical about the Piramides Extra as well.
Yoruba Hacker Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Been smoking a couple I picked up at the La Casa here in Cancun on vacation. Pretty good, in my humble estimation. Very young, so who knows what will happen over time, but I definitely think these show promise. Paid La Casa prices for a new release, so they were preposterously expensive, but as one of my brothers said on another board, you get a hint of CGR from these, which is kinda nice, I think. All due respect, but I'm shaking my head a bit at the reaction here. HSA comes out with a new regular production cigar (albeit Cohiba), and people grumble. HSA comes out with RE's EL's and Books, and people grumble on other threads. Seems a little overdone. Fortunately, there are still far more choices for regular production cigars than I for one will ever smoke. In fact, there are tons I have never or rarely smoke. I certainly don't think HSA is perfect (killing the Robusto T? Huh?), but generally seaking, there's plenty to choose from to meet any taste and pricepoint when the need arises. For me at least. Salute.
CaptainQuintero Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 It's a strange one, if they are priced betwen the Coro and Siglo 6 then I would be interested as I like the flavour of the thicker RG Cohibas. But The ones that I've seen in store are the same price as Esplendidos.

Paneotto Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Robusto T is hands down best Robusto out there! Agreed. It is sublime.
khomeinist Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Robusto T is hands down best Robusto out there! I like the Trinidad line. I have had little success with multiple boxes of the Robo T. Not a fan. BRC, Coro, PL Robo, and Choix Supreme (Herm. 4) much better in that general size to my taste.....
