Partagas Serie D Especial EL 2010

who has sampled these? not my favorite vitola, but i purchased a box today because i just couldn't pass up the price, and it was purchased from a friend.

didnt snap any pics before i wrapped em up and put them in the fridge in preparation for freezing.

I was also wondering about the Serie D Especial. I have a box down but have been afraid to touch it after I read such bad reviews. Can only hope it's gonna turn into something spectacular with time:)

I've tried 2 from the box I have, TUG ABR10.

First one was when they just came out, I thought it was a nice smoke but didn't see much aging potential to warrant another box purchase.

Second one was a couple of days ago, much heavier, darker smoke but all wood and pepper. Reminds me of a NC without the bite.

They've changed but I can't say for the better.

Hopefully they'll turn into something nice cause they're not there now.

Nothing "especial" about these...

regular SD4s are better by a landslide IMO.
