I;ve had a couple and enjoyed them. H Upmann DNA definitely there. I tasted a lot of earthy flavours. Beans, mushroom. I do remember not being bored by it. There was a very pleasing flavour transition throughout each third.

Had two from my first box from the first batch. Extremely enjoyable. For me, it follows the Mag 46 profile well, but just more rounded. Would buy more, if I could find...

hey Ziggy! How's tricks. Can you pm me the retailer? I thought these were long sold-out?!?! Maybe the 5000 boxes are being released in batches?

Yes they have been re-released. Just returned from Zurich where the LCDH was fully loaded with boxes. I did not try one of the new releases, but will do so on the next trip.

The first release RR is stellar and one of my 2 favorite marcas from 2012. The other being the RA Extra EL...

BTW, they have also re-released the RA Superiores which I did sample. This one stick that I tried was a bit harsh and did not smoke as well as the cigars from the first release. I will come back to some more as one cigar does not make a sample.

Didn't realize these were released at different times. Just picked up two boxes, one ABR 12, the other MAY 11. so these came from separate batches ? Ordered both at the same time from same vendor. I was a bit confused by the almost year in dates.

For me it was like imagining a very young Dunhill. No cream to me. I don't know what beans (not specific. Coffee beans, vanilla beans, green beans, lima beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans...arguably taste incredibly different), but mushroom I could see.

These might be closer to original mag50 EL than the mag50 EL 08. Rofl. RR are bound to be superb - at least the '11 are.
