winelover Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Spain are the new Brazil only better. Three major tournaments in a row speaks for itself. Too bad England are a pile of crap. G
Schumi5 Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Congratulation to Spain! An excellent run for my beloved Azzurri but ultimately ran out of gas and came up against the best team in the world. As a soccer fan, Spain plays some stunning football and deserves the accolades bestowed upon them. Well-deserved vistory. As for Italy, any tournament where you beat both England and Germany is always a memorable one!
frenchkiwi Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 was kinda rooting for italy as the underdogs but they were no match for the ever masterful spaniards who finally found their goal scoring touch. can anyone remember the time, just a few years ago now, where the Sangre y Oro jersey was feared by no team? even when they had great players they could never gel and were expected not to fulfil their potential... it lasted for decades... i can't. viva espana.

Mr. Japan Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Great victory fro Spain, really deserved it and are the TOP. But the game ended at 60 minutes for us :-)
mk05 Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 . Spain vs. Italy Neither, because they won't deliver to me.
Lotusguy Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Neither, because they won't deliver to me. Damn export laws
Puros Y Vino Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 A sad game for me to watch but kudos to Spain. While that passing game they play is an impressive display of skill and discipline I found it a bit tedious. I just hope every other team doesn't adopt that style. Today I just saw a video where Spain's goalie calls for a ref's attention. The score is 4-0 and he asks the ref to end the game out of respect to Italy. Very classy. On a positive note. I've discovered a fantastic Garnacha and have learned to make a mean gazpacho. Congratulations Spain.
