Dog rockets Steve. Put them in the "moochidor" :P Bring them up to the Toronto herf. If we run out of cedar shanks to light up our cigars we'll use those.

LOL Frank, spoken like a true friend!! :) I take it you tried one or two??

I have smoked these when they 1st came out while I was on a business trip in Berlin during October 2011. They were quite enjoyable then. The flavor profile was mainly consistent of cocoa and cream which reminded me of Montecristo, but also, had some Sancho Panaza characteristics, mainly saltiness

Would be interested in your experience.. Like I said, I did enjoy the 3 I smoked during the trip.. However, I opted to go against buying the box because I am not a fan of big ring gauges and thought "at the time" that these would not improve a lot with age.. Keep me posted mate :)

Will do mate Thanks...

The 10 Count box def made it more attractive for me. If it had been 25, dont think I would have purchased. It is big stick, but my Dad loves the Robusto Extra's so should these be mediocre smokes, off to Dad they go!! lol.. I hope my son is as nice to me some day!

I've smoked it and remember it as a very, very good cigar with potential.

Creamy, savoury, salty, lots of aroma - in any case : def much, much better than the SP Quijote ER Spain which left me highly disappointed ( same vitola IIRC 49 x 194, but ER for Spain ).

Enjoy !!

Brought home a box from Munich and they were not for me. Shared some with the Toronto FOH (that is where Frank got his) and sold half. This was however how I caught my "RE" bug and now I bring home RE's from every city I visit!

I had a total of three - really liked the first one - like saltwater taffy.

2nd one was boring and bland, so was the third. Ended up not picking up the box I had reserved for me in Germany after that.

Oh yes, I smoked one when I got home, and that is when I discovered they were not for me. Not just the SP's, but the other German RE's I had too. Something about the German profile did not float my boat.

Now Spain and France... Yummm

OK Gotcha Lisa thank you..,I think the German pallet prefers stronger stix with more kick etc. This would be a good question for CLaus or Nino??

When you said "not for me" i assumed you muled the box back for someone else... Someone like..... "Frank"?? :lookaround:
