Can someone please give me some insight on the Connie 1? How does it compare to the 46. I love 46,50 and even the 48s when they were around. How does the Connie compare?

The connie 1 is very good after a couple of years (4 for me) as is the mag50 but is more herby than cocoa.

younger samples i've had were bland and not enjoyable.

the 46 and 48 are more approachable as less time is needed for them to shine.

The Connaisseur No.1 is too mild for my taste. I enjoy the No.2 and the Royal Robusto a lot. Would love to hear about yet another fuller bodied H. Upmann.

I have some ripping good Connie 1 that can hold a candle to Mag46, but just have a different flavor profile. Well worth it and a great Upman. If you like recent Mag 46 (since 08), have prez find you a HQ box and enjoy!

Mbrody. Why don't you include some into the box pass for cohiba007? Hehehe

Personally, the pre99 Conn #1 were the shznit. They were like smoking a vanilla bean. I have heard the 08 boxes are pretty good, with recent ones being dogsht. I went through the recent '10s about 4 months back and they were terrible. I did not see potential.

I've smoked quite a few Connies from 2004 on, but my 2008's are by far and away the best. A go-to smoke for me. Rich and flavorful from day one, they continue to improve.

I picked up a 5 year old box and they were some of the best smokes I've had. Just bursting with complexity and flavours.

I've smoked a few aged connie 1s and didn't care for them at all.

I guess CCs are inconsistent and by nature can be hit and miss.

Just lit an 08 Connie 1 and it is a MONSTER cigar and I'm just in the first third. :perfect10:
