Hi guys

Thought I would throw this open for discussion, what is your favourite album this year ?

For me it would have to be Adele 21

An absolutely brilliant album that seems to resonate with a whole bunch of folks , my self included

Special mention also to the BOSS with wrecking ball

Now let's here your opinions

For me, so far: Ministry - Relapse.

Hate to point out that Adele's 21 was released early in 2011.

For me right now Of Monsters and Men - My Head is an Animal.

The black keys - el camino

x2

It didn't get as much hype but if you like this i highly recommend their previous album 'Brothers' which is in a similar vein.

I listen to some "out there" stuff, but for me the best of 2012 so far would be a toss-up between

Zammuto - S/T or

A Place To Bury Strangers - Onwards To The Wall EP

i assume that you mean, what comes after bruce's 'wrecking ball'?

I thought wrecking ball was his latest

Van Halen "A Different Kind of Truth" -- An amazing return to form for this band after not recording together for 30 years. They nailed it.

I reckon Mark Lanegan's latest, 'Blues Funeral' will be the best album released all year. IMO of course! I haven't stopped listening to it since i picked it up in Feb. There was an 8 year gap between solo releases for the big guy and this was worth waiting for.

Jack White Blunderbuss, outstanding!

Loving California 37 by Train! a bit obvious but just a great listen

The Infamous Stringdusters "We Do It Live ", recorded at 4 live shows on the east coast.

Most of the album came from New York City's Bowery Ballroom.

I was at the show and it was EPIC.
