Ken Gargett Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 i would not have got this in a thousand years. be interested if anyone can, without googling etc. i have put the answer well down below so you can scroll down. who played the centurion at the cruxification in "the greatest story ever told"? john wayne.
Ken Gargett Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 i should add that is about all i know about religion.
Ken Gargett Posted April 30, 2012 Author Posted April 30, 2012 and yes, it is in the wrong section so if anyone knows how to move it, most grateful.
Munts Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 i would not have got this in a thousand years. The current world population is roughly 7 billion. Lets say it takes on average 2 seconds to say a name. That would take 14 billion seconds to say every name of every person on the planet. 14 billion seconds is 233 million minutes, which is 3.88 million hours, which is 162,037 days or 443.6 years. So not counting the fact there are people with the same name and even if you got it on your last guess. You would actually quite easily guess the answer within your thousand year time limit.

cigcars Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 John Wayne also played Ghengis Khan in some movie called The Conqueror(?) in the '50's I believe.

Munts Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I once had Mongolian Beef at a restaurant called Ghengis Khan Is that the one near the RNA?? I staggered into that one a few years ago after having one too many beers. Was a pretty good feed from what i remember.
shrink Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Trivia question: Who was "The greatest Tory ever sold"? It was Margaret Thatcher, played in real life by Meryl Streep
Ryan Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I knew John Wayne played the centurion from a joke that went around years ago. When he gave the line "Truly this man is the son of God", the director wasn't happy with the delivery, given in John Wayne's usual drawl. The director says, "John can you put more 'awe' into the line please." Take 2 goes "Aww, truly this man is the son of God."
