Ophidion Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Hello everyone I was told to start an account here from a few nice guys I met up at the la casa del habano in Montreal a few weeks ago. Formalities: I just turned 29 an have been smoking cigars for about three years now and smoking habanos for most of that time. I was lucky enough to be gifted a Montecristo 2 from a fiend of mine and have been hooked ever since. My first "enlightening" habanos experience came in the form of a RASS that I got in a box from an online vendor two summers ago. Since then my collection has grown quite a bit and id say half of my collection is habanos. I'm slowly selling off all my NC cigars (aside from the padron anniversario, my tatuajes and partagas 150s) and transitioning over to all habanos. My current favorite "go to" smokes are the h upmann 46, Cohiba lancero (when I can manage to keep a few around), bolivar royal corona and hoyo de Monterrey petite robusto. My top three smokes are the bolivar gold medal, bolivar B2 and the RA EL '11 (this changes all the time as I smoke new cigars). Looking forward to learning even more about habanos and the cigar culture in different countries.
Ophidion Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 Oh, my name is Kevin. Forgot to mention that one minute detail.
DougB Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Kevin, welcome from another New Jersey member. Which county are you in?
Ophidion Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 Kevin, welcome from another New Jersey member. Which county are you in? I'm in central jersey. I generally spend most of my time in that area aside from the impromptu trips to Canada Here is a picture of what I got myself for my birthday this year: My fiance got me some H Upmann 2's, Monte EL 2010 and HdM EEs (10) which I am patiently waiting for.
