I was trying to remember as well - it may have even been a bit earlier? While there was no forum on the original site, Rob used to post a monthly newletter - cigar dinners, coming back from vacation to find bugs in the humidor, etc. I also remember you had to add shipping to your shopping cart From there it became Club Czar, where they had cigars, watches, and pens on the same site. The cigars and watches then split to separate sites and the pens disappeared. I may have the timelines a bit mixed, but that's the gist. In '05 the forum was launched.... I still have a soft spot for the original forum - it didn't have all the bells and whistles, but to me it was more "homey". What it might have lacked in glitz, I feel it more than made up for with unique character. Somewhere along the line, Ken posted pdfs of one of the Cuba trips. She is an old friend from brazil. She wanted to know some good cuban rums to send me as a gift. I got a bottle of legendario and havana club comin my way..... lol.

Ayala would walk into the humidor and say, 'Smithy I have this idea for a sampler pack blah blah blah'. They all look great and you lot bought them all up. That sucked cause I had to go through a dozen different boxes to pull together one order. Don't even get me started on the bloody 12 Days of Christmas sampler or Trevor purchasing one stick of everything for his website. Dark days people's, very dark days 1
