So how are our FB contestants going :D

Who is powering...who is focused...who has not left Pizza Hut in days :rotfl:

I am going well. Haven't weighed myself in a few weeks but have seamlessly held to the program. Weight is coming off, feeling good.

Give us an update!

Probably went out too hard, shin splints then aggravated a bad ankle injury from 12 months ago. Still motivated though. Going to give up the road running for a while and focus on eating right and just being more active overall.

Have dropped about 3kg already. Very happy, besides the injuries I feel great.

Never thought joining a cigar smokers forum would end up being good for my health

Still holding at 84kg. Cut out sugars, watching carbs, drinking almost strictly water and counting calories. I stay pretty active to. But still at the same weight?

Only lost 1.5 kg so far, but I've been spending the better part of my winter break at my grandmothers house and:

So I hardly had a chance to watch what I ate over there. But I should be down another 2.5 kg before the end of this month. Just need to stop eating bread.... but it's my achilles heel. A couple of weeks before Christmas I cut carbs completely until Christmas dinner because I didn't have time to go to the gym due to my finals and I'm never doing that again! So I'll just try to keep working out and eating less carbs instead of cutting them completely.

Just trying eat smaller portions.....less carbs.....and treadmilling it. Down 18 lbs since weigh in. Heading to Miami march break, that will be a test.

down 3 kg but fully clothed and holding my ipad.

Nice goin guys. I was too lazy and forgot to go to Walmart to buy some scales, which is likely one of the reasons I'm a fat bastard to begin with. So I'm not in your contest. Just as well as one clearly can't be asked to lose weight when his number one food is Mexican and he just happens to be married to one and live here to boot. Good luck guys!

Pizza, steak, sub sandwiches... so all in all life is good.

Do I want to maintain an awesome body through healthy habits and live til I'm 90, or meet my maker sliding in sideways by the seat of my pants at 75 having had a good time?

Don´t know anything about my weight yet, but on a strict LCHF diet I hav lost 7 centimeters around my waist.

You won't be sliding in sideways, you'll be rolling in sideways ;)

I've reduced calorie consumption, most notably beer, and started excercising again. I'm down 8 pounds. Based on my research, at 6'1 (185cm), my base metabolic burn rate is about 2100-2200 calories. That is the amount of calories I need in order to maintain steady state without excercise. That is unfortunately less than I expected. Since a pound equals about 3500 calories that means some combination of diet and exercise that equals about 1000 calories per day off this number is needed to generate weight loss of about 2 pounds per week.

I hope somebody can tell me I didn't calculate this correctly... :lookaround:

I cut Carbs drastically and added salads and plenty of Veggies. Started strengthening my core with Pushup, pullups and situps. Definately feeling better. Hoping to add Cardio once my head cold clears up. Thanks for the kick start!
