I've finally received my long awaited Bolivar Petit Corona's as of last week and decided to take one out of the humidor this evening.

The aroma at cold was rich and tempting. Cocoa or chocolate like. I had my wife smell one of the sticks when I opened my package and she immediately said it reminded her of chocolate. Clipping the cap and taking a quick few draws confirmed this. The draw was great; a bit of pull that produced loads of smoke. The cigar was earthy, rich, chocolate-y, and overall very delicious. The smoothness was introduced within the first few puffs and lasted throughout.

I shared one with my brother in law and we both remarked on not only the great flavor produced but what a great size as well. I wound up at his place around 730 and didn't want to spend too long being out but wanted to enjoy a nice, full flavored cigar. This is the perfect match.

I haven't heard good things about this cigar, but rather great things. I have no reason to disagree with much of anything that I've heard. What a great cigar and I'm pleased to have finally got my hands on a box.

The last cigar I smoked was an Arturo Fuente (I started a thread on this not too long ago) and I'm not here to disparage those that enjoy NC's; we all have our personal taste. But my experiences with CC's so far has left me with feelings that I've never had with NC's (this sounds really personal, doesn't it!). This cigar, while it's vitola might not be what impresses others, would undoubtedly stand out amongst the crowd for it's performance. Great smoke and can't touch the price. Thanks again to the Czar and company!

My first Bolivar was the Petit Corona as well. As you posted they are a great value for the $$$.

They are flavor bombs galore. Love the richness in them. All of that on a box code of AGO 11. These things are brand spanking new. Anyone have any with some age on it? How does the flavor profile differ compared to a young one?

The BPC is a personal favorite of mine. They are very consistent and always satisfy. It was very disappointing news to read the 50 Cabs hit the chopping block. I plan on using old cabs, just moving the cigars from the dress box to the cab, for future storage. If you like the Bolivar PC I would recommend Monte 4's and PLPC from Robs pick. Those three, among others, have been on my mandatory list for some time now.

Wonderful cigar. In fact, I just ordered another box last week. I'm stocking up on these while the quality is good.

Smoking through a HQ box of BPC's at the moment from may 11, they have been stellar, exept for one that was plugged, but i blame that on the high humidity i was having trouble with in my cooler a few weeks back. It is a shame the are axing the 50 cab. I plan on buying a PSP box of these when I get the chance.

I get a lot of chocolate out of BPC's as well. You are right, great smoke and great size.

They are on my short list to purchase when I start buying again hopefully in the next few months. The ones I have smoked were great.
