It's been almost 2 weeks since I returned home from my deployment, but in that time I've found almost no time to myself......between seeing family, friends, and taking care of business since I've been away, I've just not had any time for me. I havn't even been able to set to work re-hydrating my dried out cigars - that's how bad it's been!

Today though, I finally had a day to myself. I did almost nothing, and it was as rejuvenating as I had hoped. Now I can set to work responding to emails, sorting out my damaged cigars and just relaxing. Only a month before I have to go back to work!

To that end, I went out today with one of the few cigars I have that wasn't dried while I was gone (as I had a few boxes in Humi-bags) - a Partagas Corona from 2002. No pictures, but I paired it with a dram of Longrow CV Scotch, and it was heavenly - smooth, peppery strength with oodles of mellow, aged notes that speak to this cigar's great lineage. Easily a 95 point cigar. The burn was off a little because of the wind outside, but it was still a heck of a great cigar. Now I am ready to start emailing, posting, rehydrating and everything else I've been looking forward to doing since I got back!

Get ready for more ChanceSchmerr, folks, because he's BACK! :D
