Puros Y Vino Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Everyday: A PSD4 All time favourite: Cuban Davidoff No 1. (smoked one from 1970. Delicious and smooth smoke with some kick left in it around the last third).. I missed out on the cigar boom back in the 1990's. A lot of people around me got into it. Had I been into it back then my humidor would've been full of Davidoff cigars.
hdryder Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Right now I am a definate RASS ***** so I will go with them for my everyday I cant seem to get enought of the BHK52(too bad they are so damn expensive) so I will go with that for my special. I have four BHK52s from a 2010 box that I have put away for when my two daughters graduate & get married. I will have to find another sweet cigar for my first grand child and I`m thinking a Cohiba 1966 LE 2011 would fit the bill perfectly Cheers Richard
mk05 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 HdM Epi Especial for everyday Monte #2 from pre-1980 for my last cigar. I hear the Monte GR is that blend. May have to pounce on some of those boxes.

mk05 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 From my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm still learning all this), the criollo (corojo) was dropped in 94-97 due to weather/production problems. I was told that the GR was supposed to taste like the old blend before the seed change. Now I guess that sounds really dumb, but that's what I was told.
