El Presidente Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Tom had picked me up from the airport and I met Frank just before we sat down for dinner at the Sky Needle in Toronto. Great place to be for your opening insight into the Toronto "lay of the land" Tom and Frank are two of the "good guys". Great people. We shared a great meal, great wines and headed off for a cigar. You know what it is like when although you have never met someone before.... you feel you have known them for all your life. Cheers gents!

I took my fiancee there for dinner after graduating from Military College, one of the finest dinners I've ever had (the Seafood "Tower"), coupled with the most excellent company for dinner I've ever had..
tmac77 Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 It really is a fantastic view from the CN Tower (locally known as the dildo by the lake). The restaurent rotates 360* and when facing south over the lake it is spectacular. The food was amazing. Rob Picked out a great Australian shiraz (a St. Mary's if I recall correctly) to go with dinner. Had some great conversations and cigars later in the evening after dinner. It was, as Rob noted above, as if we were reunited old mates.

Yes Rob, it's not the "Sky Needle", but the "CN Tower". That said, Tom, I wouldn't necessarily say it's a dildo. With the large main deck/section, it might better be described as a giant buttplug.
