Rushman Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 I got my first look at the Behike line yesterday. This was the BHK 56. I think I was more impressed with the lacquer box and other packaging then I was with the cigars. Don't get me wrong, they were very well constructed and had very nice cold aromas. Haven't lit one up yet.

I fired one last Saturday and it delivered in spades....will be even more stunning in a few more years...absolute perfect draw, fantastic flavour, in my books this cigar is a gem...
Charltonc Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I cannot do the 56 ring gauge, down with the donkey **** cigars.
Rehman Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I cannot do the 56 ring gauge, down with the donkey **** cigars. Aw, man! Personal preferences are fine, but why disparage others' so rudely? Especially in disrespect of the BHK56 - an expensive, exclusive and excellent cigar, in my experience.

My personal money would likely not go into buying a box for me. I like all different rg cigars and would probably enjoy this if they weren't so dammed expensive.
Manny Sotelo Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Had a BHK 52 last night and it was great! JMO

Yeah Steve..that one was lovely! Thanks for giving me to try:)
maverickdrinker Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 the 56 is a good smoke. In fact all 3 vitolas are fantastic. I prefer the 54, in terms of size though.
BMWFan Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Had my 1st 54 a couple days ago and it was really bad. I only let is rest 4 days in the humidor before trying so i'm pretty sure that was the problem...I was to anxious to get at it. Anyway letting them rest for a month before trying another one.
tdlfoto Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I had a haul from a couple Behike's Art was smoking at the Toronto Herf last weekend and they tasted quite nice. I can see them having a place in the humidor for very special occasions.
tdlfoto Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Too Rich for my blood! in the last month i've watched you spend $1483745057 on LFTH.

It certainly does look very nice as a jewel between the fingers of a gentleman.
mdzotti78 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 A good smoke, no doubt. But out of all 3, it's my least fave.
anthem Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I've tried the 52 and 54 but not the 56....yet!!!The 52 and 54 were great.
goalie204 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 in the last month i've watched you spend $1483745057 on LFTH. ya but all those boxes of cigars would have only been equal to the cost of like one half of a behike cigar :P I don't really buy the bling
Ghabanos Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Had a BHK 52 last night and it was great! JMO Me 2
Gursey Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Have the Behikes began another year of production? It seems like they were fired up on beginning this new Cohiba line, then produced the limited amount in year 1 only. Have they began distributing again? The Cubans seem to have great intentions with every unveiling, but then have terrible follow-up. Was this a once or twice production, with no plans on continuing?

Tarks Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 All 3 of the Behike vitolas are fantastic cigars IMO.
maverickdrinker Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 90 percent of production at el laguito is behikes. been seeing new shipments come into toronto and mtl.

jedipastor Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I cannot do the 56 ring gauge, down with the donkey **** cigars. A lot of guys I know feel this way. My wife always says I have a big mouth, so maybe that's why I don't have issues with the big rings, lol. I also don't "hold" the cigar in my mouth, though. Even though I can smoke the big rings, I usually don't. I nearly always prefer the flavors of a thinner vitola--love me some lanceros! I smoke 50s pretty often, but it's rare I'll smoke something bigger. As far as the Behikes go, i've only had the 52. I thought it was a great cigar, but not worth the price ... yet. I would not be too surprised if after a couple years of rest they become "worth it" to me, though.

TRINIDAD ROBUSTO T ... I mean those things were out for less than 3 years before they got delete smack. 3 Years? I know plenty of guys who don't ever touch Cubans until they are older than that ... how can we even know what kind of a cigar the Trini Rob T will turn out to be? That said, they are not only one of my personal Top 2 Cubans (the BCE being the other), but they are also one of the very few Habanos I really enjoy young (better than the Behike 52 I had for sure). Grrr ... okay, sorry for the threadjack gang. I'm been experiencing intermittent Deletion Rage for the last couple weeks now ...
