tmac77 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I would like to get that one also. I see both versions. Which do you prefer Lisa/Lise ?
Ghabanos Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I'm gonna guess she going to say eithe is fine...
BobKincaid Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I'm gonna guess she going to say eithe is fine... Which will provide precisely ZERO comfort to poor Piggy.
PigFish Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Which will provide precisely ZERO comfort to poor Piggy. Lisanomics and Lisests are completely incompatible!!! Lisanomics must win!!!
rckymtn22 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 On the emails I get back from her, they are signed Lisa. But I see Rob always has Lise. Maybe she has a online name so us crazy cigar guys are confused!
mbrody Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Uh Oh, I thought I knew the proper way to use either, but now I am unsure! I use "Lisa" for formal items and "Lise" for informal pal gestures. I assume Lise sounds like "Leece"

Guest rob Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I assume Lise sounds like "Leece" Exactly! We in Australia tend to nickname, shorten and expand lots of names as a gesture of fondness and friendship.
PigFish Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Exactly! We in Australia tend to nickname, shorten and expand lots of names as a gesture of fondness and friendship. Only in the land of Oz does one add a letter to shorten a name. Now I am really confused!!! -P
El Presidente Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Does this drive anyone but me nutts? -Piggy Only you Pigster It's Lisa. I have always called her Lise (Leese) out of endearment.
PigFish Posted August 7, 2011 Author Posted August 7, 2011 Only you Pigster It's Lisa. I have always called her Lise (Leese) out of endearment. So when you say Lise, you mean Lease? Why didn't you just say so???? You see, I like to make up endearing names as well. I think I am afterall an Ozborne at heart. That is why I call Roberto, Bwana. Here is Bwana Ayala, my mate, in full glory! Those were the heady days! Now look at him! See what a few gun laws and a lot of counseling will do to you!!! -the Pigster
