Maron76 Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I received my '09 Box of HQ Punch Punch today. I have tried these before and thought they were OK from what I remember. When I opened these bags I couldn't believe it, I thought I had died and gone to heaven! It smelt like I had opened a bag of dark chocolate. The aroma was sooooo intoxicating. My wife walked into the room while I was putting these back in their proper place and asked where I was hiding the chocolate covered raisins. I just smiled and handed her one of the bags. She said that she just may have to try one. Now that my friends is a complement of the highest order! Usually she just rolls her eyes. Back into the chest freezer/humi for a bit. The last one I tried was a couple of 2003s last year that were very good. Medium body with a lot of wood and nutty characters. Maybe it's time to revisit recent production.
