I don't know about young HDD but the '03s cabinet selection I have are very good cigars. I don't think I've had a bad one.

The 02s I had did not impress me enough to replace them when consumed, but overall I'm not a fan of the Hoyo line.

The HdM Des Dieux is an amazing cigar, and I truly enjoy them. I voted that they are "Generally Always a Good Experience;" however, that comes with a caveat. the HdM DD definitely needs a few years of age on it to reach its potential. Frankly with less than 2 years on them, they really aren't that impressive, at least not to me.

Have to add these to my shopping-list. I like Hoyos and "they" say these are the best of Hoyos..

These lists should be posted permanently somewhere when its all said and done. I would have love to have seen the ratings for the Monte 4 before I decided to purchase it as my first ever box of cubans...

Just had one of these this morning. I'm kicking myself for not buying more. This is a home run 3 out of 5 cigars.

Have had a few from a few different sources, with different amounts of age on them... WOW. This is definitely one of the top sticks that only the insiders seem to know about. Goes under the radar but is truly a treat!

I voted average. Had three 09's that were ok.

Had an 01 that was good. Watched the reviews today and was about to buy a box. I have a few 09's left and smoked one. It was ok. Woody and semi creamy. I think I may still buy a box and put them away for the recommended 5 years. I'm sure I will smoke one out of the box just to see.

Thank you

Never had a bad one. But unless you really enjoy woody flavors, they may not be to your liking. Not for everyone, but I have never been disappointed.

I thought that the '03 cabinet des Dieux were the best, until I tried the '08s. They're young, but still enjoyable, and IMO show truly great aging potential. Strong and spicy, with a lot of body.

Ugh! I wish!

Still on my wish list. Just recently found them in person at my B&M. Local prices are horrendous but they've got a great selection. Will just have to read on and continue wishing...

I have '03s and '08s but haven't smoked enough of them to cast a vote here. I've loved the ones I've had, though! The Du Roi is awesome as well. Actually, I think I've liked every HdM I've had so far :)
