It is good to be back!

Successful foray in many ways with some surprises which I will detail next week.

2010 continues to impress. There is certainly an upswing in quality underway. The quality of tobacco has not changed from 08/09 (high), it is the improvement in construction which impresses. Very few cigars are now chronically underfilled. Fewer cigars have tight rolls.

I was very impressed with Monte 2/Mag 46/50. The 50's are still 09 but brilliant. Some cabs of Boli Corona Gigantes are mouthwateringly brilliant. PLPC and Partagas Shorts cabs continue to be top of their game. Boli RC and RASS were above average, Partagas D4 below average. VR Famoso continue to be appaling. Cohiba Robusto are back to their normal "averageness". Those who jumped on last months brilliant shipment did the right thing.

HDM Epi 2 was similarly average to poor in terms of quality. Picked some nice Winnies, Upmann 2, and excellent 898 Partagas.

I managed to fill plenty of private reuests (some 150) and we will be in touch with you shortly.

All in all a good hunt!

Does that mean you found an old box of Punch Black Prince that fell behind a case somewhere?

...... excellent 898 Partagas.

Does that mean the box of Robustos I grabbed yesterday from the LFTH session is part of that brilliant shipment Rob?

By the way, since it's my first buy from the thread; how do we go about paying and completing the order? (awaiting Lisa's reply on this...)

(sorry if that appears dumb!)

plus, put me down for some of those 898's too!
