mazolaman Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 If my wife asks me how long they are,i'll claim they are an inch longer than they really are. In seriousness, the female trocadero's(?) smoke the same cigar size as the men.
mkz Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 So when will these be available at Czars and is there an estimate of price?
CanuckSARTech Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I was actually thinking about those when I was in Cuba last week. I went with a buddy and his wife, along with my wife. He likes an occasional cigar, but lighter. The first day down there, we paired up in finishing off a bottle of Havana Club Reserva, and both had a Cohiba Siglo IV in the tubos format. That was all for breakfast. He then proceeded to chuck up his lunch, and called it a day with a 3 hour nap until supper. So, I was thinking about these, and how he may agree with the lighter profile, at least as a "starter" cigar. But, nothing was to be found. When I asked the Breezes Bella Costa cigar shop staff, they didn't even know what I was talking about. At the LCDH in Varadero proper the next day, they said they hadn't seen them yet, nor heard anything definitive about them yet. I was hoping to find some. Something smaller and lighter for the Mrs. to try if/when she gets brave enough to have her own (rather than just occasionally asking for a "taste" of mine, when I'm having one of "the good chocolate-smelling ones" [Monte Edmundos and ELs, Cuaba ELs, good Monte 4's, etc.]). It will be interesting to see how much longer it takes for these to fully make it to market. Apparently the Trinidad Robustos T's are still en route for the tubos, too, again, but they're just waiting on the tubos supplier.

Mr.T Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Hmmm...not sure if anyone has seen the latest CA, but while I browsing it I came across an artcile in the back about a young and attractive anchor for, I think it's CNBC and she ain't smoking no R&J skinny.....
Kangaroo495 Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I tried one a while ago. It was bloody excellent. A bomb in a tiny package. Nice and strong, spicy etc. But it was one of the ones from the Habanos Festival I think, so probably better than what's goig to be sold on the market. Though judging by it's strength, not too sure how it's supposed to apply to women... Great cigar though, highly recommend
Daverazz Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 interesting. I am sure my wife will want to try them...although she has NO PROBLEM digging through my cab now.....
Yoruba Hacker Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I thought the Monte Opens were meant to fill this slot in the product portfolio.
